Typical bathroom refurbishment
Here is a diagram of a bathroom belonging to Peter of Prestwich, Manchester.
During our first meeting Peter wanted a replacement bathroom. The suite in situ was white cast iron bath in need of attention. The toilet and sink were marked. The walls were fully tiled. The ceiling with dark wood ceiling rose. The radiator old style.
After some thought and discussions on the best use of available space, here are the following alterations.
• New, modern type white suite.
• New, but smaller double radiator.
• Water tank was moved by only three feet.
• The bath re-positioned.
• Sunken lights installed.
• Ceiling painted white.
Peter kept the colour of the suite white, purchased modern taps. The suite
gave a clean, bright appearance. Radiator saved wall space; it was tidy and neat
as well as being more efficient. The repositioning of the water tank allowed the
bath to be moved giving more usable space instead of a narrow galley, as well
as providing more accessible storage.
